Remote IT Support

Secure remote help for computer, software, email and account issues without an in-person visit.
Remote support allows Flynn’s Computers LTD to help with many software and account issues without needing to visit your home or business. We’ll explain what can be checked remotely, agree the expected cost, and only connect with your permission.
Home and business support are priced separately. Personal remote-support rates apply to home-user devices and accounts. Work involving business systems, company accounts, staff devices or organisational administration is charged at our Business IT Support rates.

How Remote Support Works

1. Tell us the problem
Give us a brief description of the issue and any error messages.
2. We confirm whether remote support is suitable
Some problems require physical inspection, so we’ll tell you if a remote session is appropriate.
3. You authorise the connection
You remain in control of the computer and approve the remote connection before support starts.
4. We work through the issue
We explain what we are doing and discuss any additional time or different work before continuing.
Your Security Matters

Remote access is only started with your permission. You remain present and in control of the device during the session and can end the connection at any time.
We do not require customers to send us their passwords. Where account access is required, you should enter your credentials yourself unless another secure arrangement has specifically been agreed.
When Remote Support Is Not Suitable

failed or physically damaged hardware
screen, battery or charging-port replacement
devices that cannot boot or connect sufficiently for remote access
some data-recovery cases
work requiring physical inspection or workshop equipment
If remote support is not suitable, we’ll explain the next practical option.
